I remember always

One of Geckler’s most dense installations to date, “I remember always”, is a suspended spectrum of six colors that radiates inward from the corner, bursting across the diagonal glass ceiling of the lobby. This artwork was created for the Laguna Art Museum’s Centennial Bash event with the help of over 70 community volunteers. Over the span of 4 days, 6000+ strands of flagging tape were attached to a gridded structure that was then strapped to the atrium’s overhead architecture. Then, individual strands were cut by Geckler into a plane parallel to the ground, the longest of which was 15 feet / 3 meters.
