Size: 18.5 x 15 x 70 feet / 5.6 x 4.6 x 21.3 meters
Commissioned for the Courtauld Biennial exhibition, “Artificial Realities”, this installation was conceived using the six-story stairwell as its inspiration. The palette of blue, green, and yellow was meant to reference the colors of the natural world (sky, plants, and sunlight). Strands descended the entire depth of the stairwell, swirling into a vortex, before terminating in an abstract stripe pattern on the 55cm cube-shaped pedestal below.
