Medium: Flagging tape, wood, paint, hardware
Size: 30 x 22 x 12 feet / 9.14 x 6.71 x 3.66 meters
Using the overhead electrical grid as a structural framework, strands of flagging tape were woven at perpendicular directions, raining down on two side from above and cut just above the floor. This created the illusion of “walls” that were permeable by visitors. The remaining sides were connected over the threshold and to the adjacent wall, creating pathways for the viewer to investigate and explore the artwork.
