Connecting to a series of beams, electrical conduits and HVAC ducting at the Craft and Folk Art Museum, three chevrons collide in the first of Geckler’s “woven” installations, where the strands intersect in space. This dynamic installation afforded different designs based on where the viewer stands, and was a pivotal piece in her artistic development as many woven works followed, both three-dimensional and flat.
